The objective of the CFST is to provide all candidates with familiarization, design, and a general safety overview of the various equipment and systems onboard their specific vessels.
The crewmember can gain within a short span of time invaluable knowledge and exposure to equipment and systems This facilitates crew to work independently and efficiently.
